Honest assessment
Pros. The published spec set is unusually complete for a Pakistani-market battery — C-rates, throughput, DoD and certifications all printed, which makes the brand auditable in a way most local assemblers are not. The 1.2C discharge (120A, ~6.1 kW) means the pack itself will not be the bottleneck on a 6 kW hybrid. Both CAN2.0 and RS485 are onboard, parallel expansion runs to 32 units, and Inverex's 28-location service network is the deepest published in the country — relevant, because a battery claim means moving a 41 kg box.
Cons. It is the most expensive local-brand 5 kWh battery we priced on 2 August 2026 — Rs 82,500-90,000 above the Fronus equivalent, Rs 22,500-35,000 above Pylontech's Fidus and MaxPower's MP-5000. The warranted throughput of 16 MWh is well short of what the 6,000-cycle headline implies (about 27.6 MWh at 90% DoD): by our arithmetic the warranty covers roughly 3,470 full cycles, not 6,000. The cell OEM is not disclosed. And W11Stop's listing claims "built-in Wi-Fi" while the official datasheet says Bluetooth + app — believe the datasheet, and check at delivery if remote monitoring matters to you.
Who should buy. Nitrox owners who want single-vendor accountability and are paying for exactly that. Anyone on a third-party hybrid should price the open-protocol rivals first and pocket the difference.
Pakistan reality check
BMS pairing. The retail pitch — and the reason to pay the premium — is plug-in pairing with Inverex's Nitrox hybrids over CAN. What Inverex does not publish is a compatibility list for anyone else's inverter. Pakistan's most common lithium retrofit failure is precisely this handshake (our guide documents the error patterns); if you are pairing with a non-Inverex inverter, require the working protocol setting in writing on the quotation, or walk.
Heat discipline decides its lifespan. The ≥6,000-cycle rating is measured at 25°C; a Lahore or Karachi utility room is hotter than that from April to October. The datasheet tolerates 55°C but tolerance is not longevity — why cheap batteries die is mostly thermal and BMS abuse. Indoor wall, no direct sun, not above or beside the inverter, and the pack's 0-35°C storage band is the honest comfort zone.
IP21 is an indoor rating. This generation dropped the older IP65 outdoor tolerance. If the install plan says veranda or stair landing exposed to rain-splash, this is the wrong SKU.
Claim paperwork. The datasheet's warranty footnote defers to the "Inverex Warranty Letter" and prints a 16 MWh throughput figure a claims assessor can invoke. Keep the invoice, get the warranty letter at purchase, and register the install with an authorized dealer so the serial is traceable.

The datasheet recommends 90% depth of discharge, so about 4.6 kWh per cycle. Plan your backup budget on 4.6 kWh, not 5.12 — a ceiling fan load of 350W runs about 13 hours on it, a 1.5-ton inverter AC nowhere near a full night.
Is the 10-year warranty genuine?
It is real but layered — 5 years product warranty plus 5 years service warranty per the official datasheet, which also prints a 16 MWh energy-throughput figure for this model and refers conditions to the Inverex Warranty Letter. 16 MWh works out to roughly 3,470 full cycles at 90% DoD — about 9.5 years of one full cycle a day.
Will it work with my non-Inverex inverter?
It carries CAN2.0 and RS485 ports, the standard interfaces, but Inverex publishes no third-party compatibility list — the retail pitch is pairing with Inverex's own Nitrox hybrids. If your inverter is a Deye, Solis, Growatt or anything else, get the exact protocol setting confirmed in writing before paying. A failed BMS handshake is the most common lithium field problem in Pakistan.
Can I expand the system later?
Yes — the datasheet allows up to 32 units in parallel with auto-networking (no DIP switches), and stacked mounting up to 6 layers. Two 5.1s (Rs 555,000-570,000 at 2 Aug 2026 prices) undercut one 11.8 kWh unit while giving only slightly less capacity.
