About SolarNevs

SolarNevs is Pakistan’s buyer-side energy desk. We survey the prices, verify the claims, and publish the method — for the solar and electric-vehicle purchases a Pakistani household now makes together. We sell no hardware, take no ranking money, and date every number we print.

Why the site exists

Search for a solar panel price in Pakistan and the first screen is hardware sellers quoting their own stock, plus a couple of thin daily-price pages with no method behind them and no date on the number. We checked that result page again on 26 July 2026 and it had not changed. A household about to spend Rs 1.4 million has nowhere neutral to check a figure.

So the product here is not the number. It is the working behind it: what was checked, when, against which source, and what we threw away. If you only take one page from this site, take how we verify.

The name

SolarNevs = Solar + NEVs. NEV — New Energy Vehicle — is the industry term used across the Chinese auto sector, which is where essentially every electric vehicle in the Pakistani market comes from. The name encodes the thing nobody else covers: the household that puts panels on the roof and an electric vehicle in the driveway, and is treating them as one energy system.

One meter. One bill. One decision. Panels, battery and vehicle are not three purchases. Pakistani households are increasingly buying all three inside the same couple of years, and the arithmetic only works if you look at them together — which is why our calculatorscross the boundary that everyone else’s coverage stops at.

What we publish

What we will not do

The full rules, including how sponsorship and affiliate links would be disclosed if we ever took them, are in the editorial policy.

agripure.org, our sister brand

agripure.org is a sister concern: shared clean-energy mission, separate brand, separate audience. Agripure covers agricultural energy — solar tube-wells, drip irrigation paired with solar, the farm schemes — and SolarNevs covers urban residential solar and electric vehicles.

Where the two overlap, we hand you over rather than write thin coverage: agri-solar readers get routed to agripure, and its urban and EV readers get routed here. The relationship is declared in this page’s structured data so that search and AI systems can see the two sites are one operation rather than guessing.

Contact

Our published contact route is being set up and will appear here as soon as it is live. If you have found an error in a number on this site, that report is the one we most want — how we handle it is in the editorial policy, and where it ends up is the correction log.
