The schema records a source type per row, not a count of dealers behind it, so we do not print a dealer count. One row is one quote we recorded on the date shown.

There is no price history here yet, so we are not showing one. The deepest series we hold was surveyed on 5 separate days. Before describing a movement, a weekly change or a spread over time we require 6 surveys on 6 separate dates spanning 28 days — so this page shows no charts and quotes no percentages. Each figure above is a single dated quote, and it should be read as one.
What is actually on this site
These are counted from the database on each rebuild, not typed in. When we get a number wrong we publish the fix with a date — the log is at corrections.
Start with the question you actually have
What does it cost?
Dated survey rows with the city and the source on every line — and no number where we could not verify one.
See the rates →What should I buy?
Buying guides that name what goes wrong: grey-market stock, mislabelled panels, warranties that change depending on whose site you read.
Buying guides →Will it break?
The inverter error-code database, plus the service-centre reality that a spec sheet will never tell you.
Fault finder →The reason this site covers both
One meter. One bill. One decision.
Panels, battery and vehicle are not three purchases. They are one energy system, and Pakistan is one of the first places where an ordinary household is buying all three inside the same couple of years. Every other site in this market covers one half of that and sells it to you.
The question that follows is arithmetic, not opinion: how much extra roof does your bike or car actually need? Change the inputs — every default here is editable, and the answer is only as good as the numbers you put in.
Treat every default in this calculator as a starting point, not a surveyed figure — the panel rate and the daily yield it assumes are working assumptions, not rows from our price surveys, so type your own quote in. What we do stand behind, and how, is on how we verify.
Charge your EV from solar — panels needed
Extra panels needed: 1 × 585W (≈ Rs 26,500 at Rs 45/W, Jul 2026)
That covers ≈ 0.8 kWh/day of charging — your fuel bill becomes effectively Rs 0/km after payback.

From the watch ledger
The full ledger →Things we ran into while verifying prices that a buyer would not find on their own. Each one says what we saw and on what date; we describe the observation and stop there. Some of them are mistakes we made ourselves.
How these prices are gathered
A price becomes a row here when someone quoted it, we recorded who quoted it, in which city, and on which day — dealer survey, retailer listing or official price list, stated per row. Rows are never edited: a correction is a new row with a new date, so the old number stays visible and the change is auditable. Where two sources disagree we publish the spread rather than the flattering end of it, and where a price cannot be verified at all we publish that instead — some product pages ship with no price by design, and how we verify names which ones and why. We sell no hardware and take no payment for placement, which is what makes this possible.
Right now that amounts to 66 survey rows across 39 items in Lahore, National, most recently on 4 August 2026. The deepest single series was surveyed on 5 separate days. Before publishing anything that describes a movement over time we require 6 surveys on 6 separate dates spanning 28 days — no series clears that yet, so we publish none.
