The Ziewnic Z5 6G PV6500 is a single-phase 4.5 kVA hybrid solar inverter rated at 4,500 W output with a 6,500 W maximum PV array, and it runs a 24 VDC battery bank rather than the 48 V most buyers assume. Pakistani retailers listed it at Rs 104,999 to Rs 120,000 (verified 2026-07-25), with the clean, unambiguously 6G listings clustering at Rs 119,999–120,000.


The 24 V fact, first

This is the single most expensive detail on the page. The PV6500 is a 24 VDC unit — Ziewnic's Z5 datasheet gives nominal DC voltage 24 VDC (main load cut-off 22 VDC, return 27 VDC) and Power Plus Generator's page independently states "System Voltage: 24V DC Input", both fetched 2026-07-25. Its 6.5 kVA sibling, the PV8500, is 48 V. If you assumed the whole Z5 series is 48 V and ordered a 51.2 V lithium rack, you have bought a battery this inverter cannot use.

Honest assessment

What holds up. A 6,500 W array ceiling on a 4,500 W inverter is unusually generous oversizing for this price band, and 180 A of solar charging on a 24 V bank can push a very large charge into a modest battery — useful where load-shedding leaves short recharge windows. The 90–450 VDC MPPT window allows flexible string design, and 9,000 W of surge covers a normal domestic motor start.

What does not. Retailer titles advertise "4.5 kVA" and "dual PV" long before they mention system voltage — and at 4,500 W on a 24 V bank you are pulling roughly 190 A of DC current at full load: heavy cable, real terminal heat, meaningful losses. The 48 V PV8500 is the better electrical architecture if the budget stretches. "Dual PV" is not dual MPPT — the datasheet says two PV ports paralleled on one 32 A tracker, so split-orientation roofs are not tracked independently. No BMS protocol list is published anywhere: open-loop lithium only, with manual setpoints. And the cheapest listings are not clearly the same product (see below).

Owner feedback: essentially none exists, and SolarNevs will not fabricate any. No SKU-specific owner reviews could be sourced on 2026-07-25 — no Reddit, PakWheels or Quora thread specific to Ziewnic ownership — and Ziewnic's own Daraz official store shows no rating base. The one adjacent signal: third-party Pakistani repair channels publish videos titled around Ziewnic "PV 6500 error code 09" and "Fault 04 / Fault 05 / Fault 06", so a repair trade exists for this exact platform. Those videos were not opened and the code meanings are unverified, so no code table is published here.

Who should buy it. A household already committed to a 24 V bank, in one of the 18 service cities, that wants maximum array capacity per rupee. Who should not: anyone planning a 48 V lithium rack, anyone with a split-orientation roof, and anyone who needs a documented closed-loop battery handshake.

The price trap on this SKU

The full observed range on 2026-07-25 was Rs 104,999 to Rs 120,000, but it is not homogeneous:

Every unambiguous Z5-6G datapoint sits at Rs 119,999–120,000; the Rs 104,999 floor comes from a self-contradicting 5G-titled listing and may be older-generation clearance stock. A Lahore retailer separately listed a Diamond-series 5G PV6500 at Rs 113,000 — a different series entirely under a near-identical part number. Budget Rs 119,999–120,000 for a confirmed 6G unit and treat anything under Rs 110,000 as a generation question, not a bargain.

Pakistan reality check

Heat and dust. Rated -10 to 50 °C with no published IP figure — the IP21 one retailer asserts appears on no Ziewnic document (ingress ratings are marketed only on Roux, IP54, and Lenox, IP65). Treat this as an indoor box: shaded, ventilated, cleaned before summer. On a 24 V bank the DC-side heat is the part installers underestimate — oversize the battery cable and torque the lugs properly.

Grid instability. Wide AC input tolerance and 98% peak conversion efficiency cover ordinary Pakistani brownouts. Since the NEPRA Prosumer Regulations of February 2026 replaced net metering with net billing, size a 4.5 kVA unit to self-consumption rather than export.

Service. The 18-centre network with published addresses and direct numbers is Ziewnic's strongest structural argument. No Balochistan, no Islamabad-proper, no AJK or Gilgit-Baltistan coverage.

Counterfeit and mislabelling. No counterfeit reports, recalls or brand warnings surfaced in targeted searches on 2026-07-25 — weak evidence, since Ziewnic runs no serial-verification portal. The documented risk on this SKU is the 5G/6G labelling overlap above: buy through Ziewnic's official Daraz store or a dealer on the brand's own where-to-buy list, and photograph the rating plate and generation badge before installation.

Warranty. Five years, printed on the datasheet and on retailer pages. No sourced first-hand account of a claim being honoured or refused exists in either direction.
