The Road Prince Loader 150 is a 150cc petrol three-wheel cargo loader - and it is on this electric-rickshaw site for one reason: it is the vehicle people find when they search for a Road Prince electric loader, which does not exist as of 2 August 2026. This page documents the petrol machine honestly, states plainly that no electric variant is sold, and runs the numbers an electric option would have to beat.

We publish no verified new price. The two references we could open today conflict - roughly Rs 400,000 on Driver.pk (a page originally from August 2024 wearing a 2026 title) against Rs 436,000 in RickshawPriceInPakistan's May 2026 guide - and neither is a dealer listing. The document that should settle it, Road Prince's official price list, is unreachable because roadprince.com.pk currently redirects to a phishing-style page. What is live: OLX's used market, where about 23 Road Prince loaders (2017-2024 models) were listed today at Rs 117,000-450,000. For a commercial vehicle this old and this common, the used market is the more honest price signal anyway.

Spec caveat, stated rather than buried: the load and fuel-economy figures come from a single price-listing site (Driver.pk), because the manufacturer's own sheet is unreachable. Treat 1,000 kg and 30 km/l as seller claims. Loaded, uphill, in summer, real fuel economy on 150cc loaders runs meaningfully below the brochure number.

Honest assessment

Pros. This is the cheapest league of working cargo vehicle in Pakistan, from a brand whose parts and mechanics are everywhere in Punjab - the used market's depth (2017 units still trading at Rs 117,000+) is proof the platform survives commercial abuse. Nothing electric at this capital cost hauls 1,000 kg with zero range anxiety and a five-minute refuel.

Cons. Petrol is the whole problem: at the claimed 30 km/l and the Rs 275/litre our July 2026 guides used, fuel alone is roughly Rs 9 per km - about two and a half times the grid-charged cost of an electric loader, and infinitely more than a solar-charged one. There is no verifiable new price, no verifiable warranty, and no official spec sheet while the maker's website is hijacked. And for buyers hoping this platform leads to an EV: Road Prince's newest loader-line launch (the 200cc ATV pickup, September 2024) went toward a registration loophole, not electrification.

Who should buy. A route operator whose duty cycle genuinely breaks electric assumptions - 150+ km days, no charging at the depot, maximum-load hill work - or a buyer whose entire capital is under Rs 250,000, for whom a used petrol loader is the only vehicle that exists. Anyone with Rs 450,000+ and a chargeable overnight parking spot should price a lithium three-wheeler first (our guide).

Pakistan reality check

The cost-per-km table is the decision. Using our July 2026 fleet-guide assumptions (petrol Rs 275/l, grid Rs 60/kWh, e-loader consumption ~6 kWh/100 km, this loader's claimed 30 km/l): petrol ≈ Rs 9.2/km; grid-charged electric ≈ Rs 3.6/km; solar-charged electric ≈ Rs 0/km marginal. At 100 km/day, 26 days/month, the petrol penalty is roughly Rs 14,500/month against grid charging - about Rs 175,000 a year, which is most of the price gap to a no-name e-loader and a large bite of the gap to a Sazgar. The counterweight: the lead-acid e-loader gives back ~Rs 95,000 every 12-15 months in battery packs, while the petrol loader's engine just wants oil. Lithium (Sazgar-class) is the configuration that actually banks the fuel savings - which is why it costs Rs 450,000-650,000.

"Electric Road Prince loader" scams. With the official site hijacked and the query popular, the conditions are perfect for stickered-up grey machines. Checks before paying for anything sold as an electric Road Prince: the brand does not make one (this page is your citation); the motor plate on a genuine e-loader states motor power and voltage, not an engine number; and registration papers for the no-name machines often do not exist at all - which also kills subsidy and financing eligibility (subsidy guide).

Used-buying sanity. The OLX spread (Rs 117,000 for tired 2018 units to Rs 450,000 near-new) is wide because loader condition is engine + chassis rust + overload history. Take a mechanic, check the frame welds behind the bed, and price against the listings cluster in Lahore, where 13 of today's 23 listings sit - outside Punjab the same machine asks a premium.

Read the table with running costs attached: every petrol row adds ~Rs 9/km forever, the lead-acid row adds a ~Rs 95,000 pack every 12-15 months, and the lithium row is the only one whose operating cost stays low without a recurring battery bill. The brand hub - Road Prince electric rickshaws - has the full verification trail for why no electric row carries this brand's name.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Road Prince Loader 150 price in Pakistan today?

We publish no verified new price as of 2 August 2026. The two references we could open conflict - roughly Rs 400,000 (Driver.pk) versus Rs 436,000 (RickshawPriceInPakistan, May 2026) - neither is a live dealer listing, and the official Road Prince website that could settle it is compromised. The live used market on OLX ran Rs 117,000-450,000 across about 23 listings today.

Is there an electric version of the Road Prince Loader?

No. As of 2 August 2026 no Road Prince electric loader or rickshaw exists - not in the PakWheels new lineup, not at PriceOye (whose Road Prince electric products are all scooters), and not among any used listing on OLX. If a seller offers you an "electric Road Prince loader," check the motor plate and papers - it is almost certainly a no-name assembled e-loader wearing a familiar sticker.

What does the Loader 150 cost to run compared with an electric loader?

On its own claimed 30 km/l, petrol at the Rs 275/litre our July 2026 guides used works out to roughly Rs 9 per km in fuel. Our fleet guide's electric assumptions (about 6 kWh per 100 km at Rs 60/kWh grid power) come to roughly Rs 3.6 per km - and near zero if charged from rooftop solar. Over a commercial 3,000 km month that is a gap in the range of Rs 16,000 or more, before oil changes.

Should I buy a used Road Prince loader or a new electric rickshaw?

Depends on your route and capital. A Rs 150,000-200,000 used petrol loader is the cheapest working cargo vehicle in Pakistan, but pays roughly Rs 9/km in fuel forever. A Sazgar-class lithium three-wheeler (Rs 450,000-650,000, July 2026) costs three times as much upfront and roughly a third as much per kilometre. A no-name lead-acid e-loader splits the difference upfront and then charges you a ~Rs 95,000 battery pack every 12-15 months. Run your monthly kilometres through those three numbers before deciding.
