Pros

  • Lowest TCL per-watt rate in Pakistan at Rs 39.50/W - under the 615-620W TCL-MI at Rs 40.00/W, the normal large-format discount.
  • Fewer parts per kilowatt. A 100 kW array needs about 139 panels at 720W versus 163 at 615W - fewer rails, clamps and connectors, and meaningfully less labour.
  • 25-year product / 30-year performance warranty with 0.4% maximum annual degradation.
  • Manufacturer scale. TCL Zhonghuan is S&P Global Tier-1 for 2026 and the largest mono wafer producer worldwide - relevant when signing a 30-year term on a commercial asset.

Cons

  • The price advantage has largely evaporated at this size. Trina 720-725W was Rs 39.30/W and JA 720W Rs 39.75/W the same day. TCL sits between them, so you are no longer paying less for a thinner support network.
