The Fronus Titan 48V 100Ah is the brand's volume 5.12 kWh LiFePO4 wall/floor-mount battery and, as of 2 August 2026, the cheapest brand-name battery in Pakistan's most-searched storage class: Rs 195,000 at the authorized dealer, with the wider Fronus 5.12 kWh family spanning Rs 185,000-215,000. That is roughly Rs 38,100 per nameplate kWh — Rs 30,000-115,000 less per battery than Knox, Dyness, or Pylontech equivalents.

It earns that price with a rebadged SolaX design, an IP21 indoor-only enclosure, and a 5-year written warranty that is half the "10+ year" marketing lifespan. Here is the full picture.

Honest assessment

Pros. Price, first and always: Rs 38,100/kWh nameplate against Rs 44,300-60,500/kWh for Knox, Dyness, and Pylontech (July 2026 list). The chemistry is right — LiFePO4 tolerates heat far better than other lithium types, which our LiFePO4 explainer covers in detail. The spec page lists genuine IEC/UN certifications, both RS485 and CAN are on board, and stock is available same-day at mainstream retailers. Rough delivered-energy math: if the cycle claim held, Rs 195,000 over 8,000 cycles x 3.6 kWh is under Rs 7 per kWh delivered; even at half the claimed cycles it is ~Rs 14/kWh — against Rs 50-65/kWh evening grid power.

Cons. The cycle number is quoted at 70% DoD — run it to 90% daily like the marketing photos imply and you are outside the rating entirely. IP21 means strictly indoors; a stairwell that takes monsoon spray or a rooftop shed disqualifies it. The written warranty is 5 years with no published claim-terms document we could find, and the entity behind it is the distributor chain, not the cell maker. There is no independent long-term field data on Fronus-badged packs in Pakistan — the brand's battery push is recent, so year-6 behavior is an open question you are personally funding.

Who should buy. Buyers with a 48V hybrid inverter on the battery's protocol list, an indoor mounting spot, and a budget that rules out Pylontech-class money. Pakistan reality check

Heat. The official charge window tops out at 45C. Mount it on a shaded internal wall, not the kitchen-side wall, and give the BMS's temperature cutoff a chance to never trigger.

BMS pairing. This is where cheap lithium installs die. The pack speaks RS485/CAN; Fronus hybrids are the supported pairing, and Voltronic-family, Inverex, and Deye pairings are common in the field. But a battery left on a wrong or generic protocol reports wrong SOC, overcharges, or trips offline — the classic tubular-to-lithium upgrade failure. Insist the dealer confirms your exact inverter model and firmware, and have the installer show you the protocol handshake working (SOC visible on the inverter screen) before signing off. Warranty-claim reality. Five years through Fronus service centers in major cities. Serial number and warranty term on the invoice, compliant DC breaker and cabling, indoor mounting: miss any of these and the 5-year promise is theoretical. Grey stock. Fronus sells through an official local channel, so the grey-import problem that plagues Pylontech barely applies. The real trap in this price class is the used/refurb imported lithium market undercutting even Fronus — a "5.12 kWh" pack at Rs 120,000 is not a bargain, it is somebody's retired cells.

One stale outlier for the record: SolarPanelPrices.pk lists the TP-LD53 variant at Rs 275,000 on an undated page — every dated 2026 listing is Rs 60,000+ below that.
