Inverex Nitrox F08 — Battery Over-Voltage
What it means: The inverter detects battery voltage above the safe charging window.
Why does Inverex show F08?
- Wrong battery type selected in settings (tubular profile on lithium)
- BMS communication failure
- Faulty battery cell group
The Pakistan factor
Common after DIY battery upgrades from tubular to lithium without changing the charge profile.
How to fix it
- Check the battery-type setting matches your battery (LI protocol for lithium).
- Verify the BMS comm cable is seated and the correct protocol is selected.
- If the error persists, stop charging and call an Inverex service center — do not open the battery.
