And these are not small motorcycles. They are light scooters with low-power hub motors, and none of them will replace a 70cc for a rider who carries a pillion or crosses a flyover twice a day. If someone quotes you a "Super Star e-bike for Rs 95,000", they are either quoting a used bike, a different brand, or a price that will grow at the counter.

Do the Super Star specifications hold up?

This is where a buyer needs to be uncomfortable, so let us do the arithmetic openly.

The EV-1000W is listed with a 1.0 kWh lithium pack, a 1000W motor, 70 km claimed range and 120 kg dry weight. The EV-1500W has a 1.5 kWh pack, 1500W motor, 80 km claimed range and the same 120 kg dry weight.

Test one: energy against range. 1,000 Wh over 70 km is 14.3 Wh per kilometre. A 120 kg motorcycle carrying a rider does not achieve that. Real-world consumption for this class runs closer to 28 to 32 Wh/km. At 30 Wh/km, a 1.0 kWh pack delivers about 33 km, not 70. The EV-1500W's 1,500 Wh at the same rate gives about 50 km, not 80.

The EV-1000W carries 40 kg more bike for 42% less energy than the E-Go. Lithium packs are light; that weight has to be coming from somewhere. Either the chassis and running gear are considerably cruder, or the pack is not the chemistry the listing says it is. We cannot resolve which from published sources. What we can tell you is to physically look at the battery box before you pay, and to ask for the cell chemistry in writing.

Test three, focusing on the 30% floor. Super Star's own EV-1500W listing states the battery cannot be used when charge drops below 30%. If that is a real controller cut-off rather than a maintenance recommendation, your usable capacity is 70% of nameplate. Apply it to the realistic figures above and the EV-1000W gives roughly 23 km and the EV-1500W roughly 35 km per charge. What about the price conflict and the registration claim?

Two things in the published record deserve a flag.

The Rs 65,000 price gap. PakWheels lists the EV-1000W at Rs 160,000 in July 2026. Gari.pk lists the same model at Rs 225,000 for the 2026 model year. PakWheels separately notes an average used EV-1000W price of Rs 160,000, which raises the possibility that the new-price listing is carrying a used figure. We cannot reconcile this. Battery life at this price. Lead-acid packs cost Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 and last one to two years in Pakistan, where every 10 degrees C above 25°C can halve their life. They lose 20 to 30% of range within six months, and a pack that gave 60 km when new can be down to 25 km by the end. Lithium replacement pricing from January 2026 runs Rs 50,000 for 60V 20Ah, Rs 73,000 for 60V 30Ah and Rs 89,000 for 72V 30Ah.

Run that over three years on a Rs 160,000 bike with a lead-acid pack, which includes a purchase price of Rs 160,000, one or two replacement packs at Rs 30,000 each, plus electricity.
