WarrantyAsk harder about this one than about the single-phase units. GoodWe's Pakistan page advertises 10 years on the G3 Hybrid Series 8-20kW, but the 5-20kW ET LV family is not on GoodWe Pakistan's published product offering (which lists the ET hybrid at 40/50kW HV only). Sellers advertise less again - AMS 5 years, C-Power a 2-year shop replacement, Power House Express only a 3-day returns window. Confirm with GoodWe's service UAN (03311110217) that your exact model string is covered by the factory before paying, and get the term, model and serial on the invoice.

The GW12K-ET-L-G10 is GoodWe's 12kW three-phase hybrid on a 48V battery, and it is the rare Pakistani inverter whose price the market has actually agreed on. Five sellers on 2 August 2026 quoted Rs 508,000 to Rs 525,000 - a 3.3% spread, against 22% for GoodWe's own 8kW single-phase. It is also the model most likely to be sold to you correctly, because Power House Express and Vertex Solar both print the full string GW12K-ET-L-G10 rather than "GoodWe 12kW hybrid".

The letter that matters is the -L. It means low voltage: a 48V battery bank, 40-60 V. GoodWe's ET series without the -L runs a 180-600 V high-voltage battery. Same brand, same kW class, mutually incompatible storage.

All figures are from the GW12K-ET-L-G10 column of GoodWe's ET LV datasheet, fetched 2 August 2026. Two Pakistani listings disagree with it, and both errors are one column wide. Vertex Solar and Power House Express both print 47.5 kg where the 12kW column reads 45.3 kg, and Power House Express prints 97.4% European efficiency where the 12kW column reads 97.3% - 97.4% is the 20kW's number, one column to the right.

The most misleading line about this machine, though, is GoodWe's own. The ET LV datasheet cover headlines the series with "Dual independent battery inputs with 416A", and the technical table underneath it shows the battery-input row reading 1/1/1/1/1/2/2 across GW5K to GW20K and the charging-current row reading 125/135/175/220/250/165+165/208+208. The 416 A is 208+208 - the 20kW. The 12kW has one battery input at 250 A. If your installer quotes you a split bank on this model, the cover is where he got it.

Honest assessment

Pros. Three MPPTs with one string each is the right architecture for Pakistani roofs, where the array almost never splits into two matched halves - each face gets its own tracker, and 24 kW of PV on a 12 kW inverter is real 200% oversizing. A 250 A single battery channel means one big 48V bank rather than a split, which is simpler to commission and cheaper to cable. The back-up side is a proper three-phase output at 400/380 V with a 24 kVA ten-second surge and a 20 kVA generator input, so it drives three-phase motors and can sit in front of a genset. Type II surge protection on both DC and AC sides is fitted, not optional, which matters on long rural runs. And this is the only GoodWe product in Pakistan we found with a genuinely tight price band.

Cons. The family is not on GoodWe Pakistan's own published product offering, which lists the ET hybrid at 40/50 kW high-voltage and the ES Uniq at 8-12 kW single-phase - so the 10-year factory warranty GoodWe advertises for its "G3 Hybrid Series 8-20kW" may or may not reach this exact model, and no seller we opened resolves that. Sellers advertise less anyway: AMS 5 years, C-Power a 2-year shop replacement, Power House Express nothing but a 3-day returns window. Retail spec sheets carry small errors on weight and battery inputs. And 45 kg on a 551 x 756 mm wall footprint needs a real mounting wall and two people.

Who should buy. A three-phase connection - a 2-kanal house, a school, a clinic, a small factory - with a 48V lithium bank and loads that must keep running through load-shedding. If your connection is single-phase, this is the wrong machine entirely and the 8kW ES Uniq is the sibling to price. If you have or want a high-voltage battery, you want the ET HV series instead, and you must say so out loud when ordering.

Pakistan reality check

The -L is the whole ballgame. GoodWe's ET series datasheet covers GW5K-ET to GW10K-ET with a battery voltage range of 180-600 V. The ET LV datasheet covers GW5K-ET-L-G10 to GW20K-ET-L-G10 at 40-60 V. A Pakistani listing that says only "GoodWe 12kW 3-phase hybrid" - which is exactly what w11stop's Rs 508,000 page says, describing it as "typically the GW12K-ET series" - has not told you which storage architecture you are buying. At 10 kW the ambiguity is live in both directions, since GoodWe sells both a GW10K-ET (HV) and a GW10K-ET-L-G10 (LV). Insist the invoice carries the full string including -L-G10, and photograph the nameplate at delivery.

Who services it. GoodWe's Pakistan page states it operates fully equipped service hubs in Karachi and Lahore, publishes service UAN 03311110217, and names Technical Head Ahmad Rafay (Islamabad), Technical Service Manager Khuram Batth (Lahore) and Technical Service Engineer Muhammad Hassan Quader (Karachi). That is a manufacturer channel, and it is the single strongest reason to buy GoodWe over a comparable imported hybrid here. Use it before you buy, not after it fails: call the UAN, give the model string, and ask whether GW12K-ET-L-G10 is factory-supported in Pakistan and whether your seller is in the system. If the answer is vague, you have learned something important for Rs 0.

Documented vs non-documented stock. Three Pakistani sellers claim to be authorised GoodWe distributors - w11stop, AMS Security Vision and Nizam Energy - and GoodWe's own Pakistan page names none of them, or anyone else. Separately, GoodWe's published Pakistan product offering does not include the ET LV family. Neither fact makes a GW12K-ET-L-G10 in Pakistan grey stock; the model is genuine and globally documented. Both facts do mean the warranty chain for it is undocumented until someone at GoodWe Pakistan confirms it in writing. Treat that as the open question on this purchase.

Error codes on an ET are not error codes on an ES. GoodWe appends "ETU" to several codes precisely because the ET series reuses numbers - 02ETU is an AFCI fault, 14ETU is phase-order fault, 27ETU is phase-angle failure. Phase order matters here in a way it does not on a single-phase unit: GoodWe's documented fix for 14ETU is to swap L2 and L3 and then update firmware. Any technician who learned GoodWe on 2018 grid-tie units will misread these numbers; our GoodWe error-code guide lays out which numbering set is which.

Three-phase load balance is your problem, not the inverter's. A three-phase hybrid backs up three phases; it does not rebalance a house that was wired with every heavy load on one of them. Before commissioning, have the installer measure per-phase load and move circuits so the back-up draw is distributed - otherwise you will hit the per-phase current limit long before the 12 kVA rating.

Heat and dust. Smart fan cooling, IP66, C4 anti-corrosion, -35 to +60 C rated, under 45 dB. The rating is not the problem; the fan intake in a Pakistani plant room is. Error 12 is internal fan failure and error 13 is over temperature, and both are maintenance outcomes, not manufacturing defects. Clear the fins annually.

Price context vs rivals (August 2026)

Five sellers, one model string, 2 August 2026:

Seller

Price

Stock

w11stop

Rs 508,000

in stock

C-Power

Rs 510,000

in stock

Power House Express

Rs 520,000

sold out - and minimum order 10 units

Vertex Solar Solution

Rs 525,000

listed available

AMS Security Vision

Rs 525,000

wholesale list, page headed June 2025

Two caveats on that table. Power House Express states "Minimum order quantity is 10", so its Rs 520,000 is a bulk rate, not a single-unit price - and its collection page shows the model In Stock at the same figure while its product page says Sold out. AMS's number sits on a page headed "GoodWe Full Price List Pakistan - June 2025" which describes its figures as "AMS wholesale rates"; it is quoted here because Vertex independently lists the identical Rs 525,000, not on its own authority. Both endpoints of the published Rs 508,000-525,000 range - w11stop at the bottom, Vertex and AMS at the top - are single-unit prices.

Against the rest of the GoodWe three-phase hybrid ladder, same day:

GoodWe three-phase LV hybrid

Price (2 Aug 2026)

ET LV 8 kW

Rs 390,000 (AMS only)

~48,750

ET LV 10 kW

Rs 490,000 (AMS only)

~49,000

ET LV 12 kW

Rs 508,000-525,000

~42,300-43,750

ET LV 15 kW

Rs 612,000-625,000 (w11stop / AMS)

~40,800-41,700

ET LV 20 kW

Rs 796,000-820,000 (w11stop / AMS)

~39,800-41,000

The 12 kW is the point where GoodWe's three-phase ladder stops getting more expensive per kW and starts getting cheaper - the 8 kW and 10 kW cost roughly Rs 49,000 per kW, the 12 kW about Rs 43,000, the 20 kW about Rs 40,000. If your three-phase load is anywhere near 10 kW, the 12 kW is better value than the 10 kW in absolute per-kW terms. Note that the 8 kW and 10 kW figures come from a single seller (AMS) and are therefore not market prices by our standard; they are shown for shape, not for quoting.

For comparison outside the brand, Solis sells three-phase hybrids in this class through importers with no published Pakistani service address, and Inverex competes on a domestic service network rather than on documentation. GoodWe's pitch here is a factory service hub plus an official datasheet you can hold the seller to - and on this model, unusually, a price the market has already settled.

Frequently asked questions

What does the GoodWe 12kW three-phase hybrid cost in Pakistan today?

Rs 508,000 to Rs 525,000, verified across five Pakistani sellers on 2 August 2026 - w11stop Rs 508,000 (in stock, page dated today), C-Power Rs 510,000 (in stock), Power House Express Rs 520,000 (sold out), Vertex Solar Rs 525,000, AMS Rs 525,000. A 3.3% spread, which makes this one of the best-behaved prices in the Pakistani inverter market.

Does it use a 48V battery or a high-voltage battery?

48 V. The -L in GW12K-ET-L-G10 means low voltage - the datasheet range is 40-60 V, LFP or lead-acid, on one battery input rated 250 A continuous. GoodWe's separate ET series (no -L) runs a 180-600 V battery. If a seller cannot tell you which one is in the box, do not buy it.

How much solar can I connect?

24 kW of PV - 200% of the 12 kW AC rating - across three MPPT trackers, one string each, 20 A per tracker, with a 1000 V ceiling and a 150-850 V MPPT window. Three single-string trackers is unusual and useful in Pakistan, where roof faces rarely match.

Will it run three-phase loads during load-shedding?

Yes - the back-up output is 400 / 380 V, 3L/N/PE, rated 12.0 kVA nominal and 13.2 kVA sustained with a 24.0 kVA surge for 10 seconds, and bypass is rated 70 A. It also accepts a 20 kVA generator on its generator input. The practical limit is the battery, which must deliver 250 A to reach 13.2 kW.

Is it 47.5 kg, and does it have dual battery inputs?

No on both counts, and the second error comes from GoodWe itself. The GW12K-ET-L-G10 column of the ET LV datasheet gives 45.3 kg and one battery input at 250 A; Vertex Solar and Power House Express both print 47.5 kg. The dual-input idea traces to the datasheet's own cover, which headlines the whole ET LV series with "Dual independent battery inputs with 416A" - true of the 20kW (208+208 A) and the 15kW (165+165 A) and of nothing else in the family. Wire the bank from the technical table, not from the cover or the listing.

Is the ET LV series officially sold in Pakistan by GoodWe?

It is a real GoodWe product with an official global datasheet, and it is what Pakistani shops sell in volume as the three-phase GoodWe hybrid. But GoodWe's own Pakistan product offering lists the ES Uniq 8-12kW single-phase, SDT G3 8-30kW, and an ET hybrid at 40/50kW high-voltage only - no 5-20kW ET LV. Before relying on a factory warranty, confirm on GoodWe's Pakistani service line that your model string is covered.
