Inverex Nitrox 12kW 48V Three Phase Hybrid

The Inverex Nitrox 12kW 48V Three Phase Hybrid is a three-phase 48V hybrid inverter for larger homes and small commercial loads, charging or discharging a battery at up to 240 A with six configurable time periods and AC coupling for retrofits. Verified across four Pakistani sources on 25 July 2026, it sells for Rs 745,000 to Rs 770,000.

This is the best-corroborated price in our Inverex coverage, and it is meaningfully below the roughly Rs 820,000 that older buying guides still quote.

Specifications

The PV figure is the weak row. 15,600 W and 600 W per module appear on comfortsolar.pk and powerplusgenerators.com.pk, but those are not independent transcriptions: the identical 15,600 W / 240 A / dual-three-phase-output block appears on powerplusgenerators' page for a completely different product, an 8kW single-phase unit. Inverex's own 12kW page states no PV figure at all. So we carry the number with a warning rather than as a confirmed spec. {/* VERIFY */}

The 240 A charge current, by contrast, is confirmed on both Inverex's own hybrid page ("Max. charging/discharging current of 240A") and comfortsolar.pk, fetched 25 July 2026.

A 13kW successor now exists

Inverex's official catalogue added a NitroX 13KW 3P Hybrid: 255 A charge and discharge current, a maximum of 10 units in parallel, and a 5-year warranty (aptinverex.com, fetched 25 July 2026). The current three-phase and single-phase hybrid line runs 3.6, 6.6, 8, 10, 13, 16, 20, 30, 50 and 80 kW.

The 12kW is still listed, still stocked and still the cheaper of the two. But a tier that has been leapfrogged in the manufacturer's own catalogue is a tier to ask spares and firmware questions about before you commit. Note that the 13kW trades parallel capacity down, from 16 units to 10 — for a single site that is irrelevant, for a growing commercial bank it is not.

Honest assessment

What is genuinely good. 240 A of battery current on a 48V bus is a lot of charge capability, and it is the spec that justifies the price against smaller three-phase hybrids. AC coupling is the underrated feature: it lets the 12kW sit on top of an existing on-grid array rather than replacing it, which after the February 2026 abolition of net metering is exactly the upgrade path a lot of Pakistani prosumers now need. Six configurable charge and discharge windows give real control over when the battery fills, which matters when export pays roughly Rs 11 per unit and import costs several times that. Diesel generator input is a practical concession to Pakistani reality rather than a marketing bullet.

What is not. The documentation is thin for a three-quarters-of-a-million-rupee product. Inverex publishes no PV input figure, no MPPT count and no efficiency figure on its own 12kW page, and the retailer pages filling those gaps demonstrably copy each other. On a three-phase unit where string sizing has to be right, that is a genuine problem.

Owner feedback. None we could source for this model — no forum thread, review or installer account naming the 12kW surfaced. The only sourced Inverex owner-side account we have covers mixed models and does not break out the 12kW. We are not going to imply a track record that is not documented.

Who should buy it. A three-phase site with a large daytime load, an existing or planned battery bank big enough to use 240 A, and either an existing array to AC-couple or a generator to integrate. If any of those three is missing, a smaller single-phase Nitrox is the better buy.

Pakistan reality check

Heat. The only sourced Inverex installer account on record cites warranty fine print with a 45 degree C ambient limit and documents 2024 claim rejections for cupboard mounting. A three-phase unit dissipating this much power needs a ventilated wall, not a store room.

Grid. A 2026 guide at solarhubofficial.com states that Inverex faults 01, 04 and 07 are usually self-protection responses to voltage fluctuation and load-shedding rather than damage, while faults 09, 51, 52 and 53 are usually internal hardware failures involving the main board or capacitor. On a three-phase supply, phase imbalance and phase-loss faults are additional exposure the single-phase units do not have. Service. Inverex's own service-centre page lists 28 Pakistani locations with street addresses plus Kabul and Kandahar and states there are over 25 authorized service centers (fetched 25 July 2026). Warranty mis-selling. comfortsolar.pk advertises "10-year warranty with a 5-year replacement term" on this model. No Inverex page supports that. Inverex's own figure is five years. Do not pay extra for a term the manufacturer does not offer.

Counterfeit risk. We found no Inverex anti-counterfeit advisory and no serial-verification portal, and we claim neither exists. On a unit this expensive the practical protections are buying through a registered dealer so the serial registers under the dealer account, photographing the serial label before mounting, and keeping the invoice and installation certificate.

Price context

Two corrections to the numbers circulating around this model. First, Rs 800,000 is not a street price — it is comfortsolar.pk's crossed-out list price, and the same page sells at Rs 770,000. Second, buying guides still quoting around Rs 820,000 for the Nitrox 12kW are roughly 7 to 10% high against what four sources showed on 25 July 2026.

Market backdrop: ProPakistani reported on 30 June 2026 that solar panel, battery and inverter prices in Pakistan were falling — an article that does not name Inverex, but is consistent with what we observed on this tier.
