Honest assessment

Pros

  • Real cost advantage. Rs 40.00/W undercuts Jinko 585-590W at Rs 43.45/W and Canadian 620-630W at Rs 45.00/W on the same 25 July list - roughly Rs 35,000-50,000 saved on a 10 kW array.
  • Best-in-class paper warranty. 25-year product plus 30-year performance beats the 12-15 year terms several competitors still write in Pakistan.
  • Double-glass bifacial construction at this price point, the right build for Pakistani dust and coastal humidity.
  • Manufacturer is not a risk. TCL Zhonghuan is the world's largest mono wafer maker and S&P Global Tier-1 for 2026.

Cons

  • You will struggle to find it. TCL appeared on one of eight Pakistani daily price lists in July 2026. Fewer stockists means less price competition and slower replacement if a panel fails.
  • Efficiency is mid-pack. 22.77% is fine, but LONGi Hi-MO X10 and Aiko back-contact modules push past 24% for buyers with tight roof space.

Documents vs non-documents. The Rs 40.00/W figure is a documented in-stock trade rate. Non-documented panels appear several rupees per watt cheaper across all brands. For TCL-MI, buying grey defeats the purpose: the entire value proposition is a 25/30-year warranty, and that requires a legal import trail.

Counterfeit risk and how to verify. TCL's fame in televisions and air conditioners makes the badge unusually attractive to relabellers, because Pakistani buyers trust the name without knowing the solar product. Run every check:
