Warranty12-year product warranty and 30-year linear output guarantee at ≤0.40% annual degradation, per the manufacturer datasheet. One Pakistani page advertises a 15-25 year product warranty — that contradicts the datasheet; get the term in writing against the model code.

The ZXM7-UHLDD144 is ZnShine's 182mm-wafer N-type TOPCon platform: 144 half-cut cells in a 6x24 layout, 16 busbars, bifacial double glass, sold in 555W to 585W bins. In Pakistan only the 585W bin trades in volume, and as of 26 July 2026 it costs Rs 22,223 to Rs 25,740 per panel (Rs 38-44 per watt) on the mainstream trackers, with grey-channel lists quoting around Rs 16,965 (Rs 29/W).

Everything below comes from the manufacturer datasheet (version 2308.E, June 2024 revision), not a reseller page.

Honest assessment

Pros. Properly specified, with independent reliability evidence: ZnShine is a Top Performer in Kiwa PVEL's 2026 Module Reliability Scorecard across seven categories, including damp heat, mechanical and hail stress, PID and UVID. The IEC 61701 salt-mist and IEC 62716 ammonia certifications matter for coastal Karachi and for panels near livestock sheds — many budget modules skip both. Double 2.0mm heat-strengthened glass handles hail and humidity better than a polymer backsheet, and 5400 Pa front loading is a real number for windy sites.

Cons. The bifacial premium is largely theoretical on a typical Pakistani rooftop: the 25% rear-gain figure assumes elevated mounting over a reflective surface. Flush-mounted on dark concrete, rear yield is close to nothing, so you pay for double glass and extra weight without the payback. The (-0.30 ± 0.03)%/°C tolerance means an in-spec panel can behave like -0.33 — slightly worse than Jinko's Tiger Neo at -0.29. And the bin spread is a trap: 555W and 585W panels look identical and ship in the same pallet, but differ by 5.4% in output.

Who should buy. Ground-mount or elevated-tilt buyers who can actually collect the rear-side gain, and rooftop buyers who get the 585W bin at Rs 40/W or below with documents. If you are flush-mounting on a dark roof, a good monofacial N-type at the same rupees per watt is the better trade.

Pakistan reality check

Heat and dust. At 60-70°C cell temperature — normal in Sindh and south Punjab from May to August — this coefficient costs roughly 10-13% of nameplate. Add 5-15% for soiling if you do not wash. Size the array on about 80% of the sticker figure in summer, not 100%. The graphene self-cleaning coating is a genuine datasheet feature, but we found no independent Pakistani measurement of its effect; do not let it replace a hose.

Documents vs non-documents. The Rs 29/W ZnShine rows appear in lists where every brand runs Rs 8-12/W below documented street rates. That is grey stock regardless of the row label — one Pakistani site tags its Rs 29/W ZnShine entry "Tier1 Documented", which is not credible next to a Rs 38-44/W documented market. The roughly Rs 6,000-per-panel gap buys import papers, a warranty trail and clean net-metering paperwork.

Counterfeit check — do this before paying. (1) The serial must be laser-etched inside the front glass; the ZXM7-UHLDD144 drawing shows two barcode positions beneath the glass. A paper sticker on the frame or backsheet proves nothing — sticker sheets are printed locally and applied to relabelled or B-grade modules. (2) Demand the serial-matched factory flash-test report giving each panel's measured wattage; this is how you catch 555W stock sold as 585W, and a real importer has these files. (3) Put the model code (ZXM7-UHLDD144-585), serials and wattage bin on the invoice. ZnShine's own "Module Authenticity" page is a contact form with no lookup tool, and the linked manufacturer page 404'd on 26 July 2026 — unlike Jinko or Trina, there is no public serial check, so paperwork is the whole defence. (4) Check the pallet: genuine ZnShine ships 36 modules per pallet, 720 per 40' container.

Warranty claim reality. Twelve years product and thirty years output are the datasheet terms. One Pakistani retail page advertises a 15-25 year product warranty for ZnShine N-type — that does not match the datasheet, and an inflated warranty claim is a reason to trust the rest of that listing less. Get the term in writing against the model code. With no ZnShine office in Pakistan, your importer is the entire claims process.

Price context vs rivals (585W class)

  • Jinko Tiger Neo 585W — Rs 40.65-43.45/W, Rs 25,418 per panel (Solar Citizen, Jul 2026); Rs 25,155 (Pakistan Solar Traders, Jul 2026); Rs 45.50/W (SolarPanelPriceInPakistan.pk, 24 Jul 2026).
  • JA Solar DeepBlue 580-595W — Rs 39.75-42.5/W, Rs 24,650 (Solar Citizen, Jul 2026); Rs 25,155 (Pakistan Solar Traders, Jul 2026); Rs 42/W (24 Jul 2026).
  • Trina Vertex N 585W — Rs 39.3-42.15/W, Rs 24,657 (Solar Citizen, Jul 2026); Rs 25,740 (Pakistan Solar Traders, Jul 2026); Rs 43/W (24 Jul 2026).

At Rs 40/W the ZXM7-UHLDD144 undercuts all three. At Rs 44/W it matches Trina and costs more than Jinko and JA, from a brand with far less local service depth. The rule: worth having under roughly Rs 41/W with documents, not worth a Jinko-equivalent price. Take the flash-test report, not the badge, as your evidence.

Frequently asked questions

What does a ZnShine 585W panel cost in Pakistan today?

On 26 July 2026, Rs 22,223 to Rs 25,740 per panel (Rs 38-44/W) across three Pakistani lists. Grey-channel lists quote about Rs 16,965 (Rs 29/W). Re-confirm on the day you buy — rates move with the dollar.

Is this panel monofacial or bifacial?

Bifacial double glass. The datasheet gives an (80 ± 10)% bifaciality factor and up to 25% rear-side gain, which needs a reflective surface and elevated mounting. On a dark flat roof with low clearance, expect close to zero rear gain.

How many panels fit a 10kW system?

Seventeen 585W panels give 9.95kW DC. At Rs 22,223-25,740 each that is roughly Rs 378,000 to Rs 437,600 for the modules alone, before inverter, structure, wiring and labour.

What is the real efficiency, 22.45% or 22.65%?

Both, for different bins. The datasheet lists 22.44% at the 580W bin and 22.64% at 585W. If a seller quotes 22.65% but delivers 580W panels, you are getting the lower bin. Check the label wattage.

How do I check a ZnShine panel is genuine?

Serial laser-etched inside the front glass, not a paper sticker; serial-matched factory flash-test report; model code and serials written on the invoice. ZnShine publishes no working online serial checker, so the paperwork is all you have.

Is the 12-year product warranty worth anything in Pakistan?

Only as far as your importer honours it. ZnShine has no confirmed Pakistan office, so there is no local escalation path. Keep the invoice, serial photos and flash-test report together from day one.
