The Pylontech US5000 is a 48 V, 4.8 kWh LiFePO4 rack module — the previous-generation Pylontech that most inverter compatibility lists were written around. It is listed in Dubai at AED 4,750 on 5 August 2026, in stock at maxima.solar.
It is also the more expensive of the two Pylontech modules on that shelf, and the smaller one.

The older module costs 36% more in absolute terms and 45% more per usable watt-hour while storing less. On the evidence of one seller on one day, there is one good reason to buy this one instead: you already own US-series modules.
Why you cannot simply mix them
Pylontech's UF5000 manual is explicit — do not connect a battery with a different type of battery, and the module's embedded BMS is designed for 51.2 VDC, so these must not be connected in series. The charge windows make the point on their own: the UF5000 charges at 56–56.8 V, and a 48 V US-series module does not.
Practically, that means a bank is a one-way commitment. An owner who starts with US5000 modules is buying into the US-series channel for every future expansion, and this listing is what that channel currently costs in Dubai.

A cell count is not published. Pylontech's own documents do not state one. Third-party sources — Victron's compatibility notes — describe the 48 V module as a 15-series configuration. And there is a trap worth naming: the US-series datasheet carries a row reading "single string quantity (pcs) 16", which is the number of modules allowed in a parallel group, not cells. It is misquoted as a cell count constantly.
The UAE-specific caveat
Cycle life and design life are quoted at 25 °C. A battery cabinet in an unconditioned Dubai garage or rooftop plant room is not at 25 °C for much of the year, and lithium ageing is driven by temperature more than by cycling for most residential duty. The coolest ventilated indoor location you have is worth more to this battery than any setting on the inverter.
Before paying
Get the warranty term in writing and keep the commissioning record. Pylontech claims are assessed against BMS event logs, and packs whose logs show repeated over-voltage from manual-mode charging have had claims refused — which makes the installer's charge-voltage configuration part of the warranty, not just part of the install.
One seller is not a market price. AED 4,750 is one Dubai shop's listing on one day and enters our dated UAE price index as exactly that.
