Why this brand gets a warning instead of a spec table
The UAE listing for the 3 kW unit fails two tests that no other product on this shelf failed:
- It contradicts itself. Its quick-spec block states IP66; its description states IP65. KSTAR's own documentation says IP65.
- Its description is not about a KSTAR product. The listing's "Smart Monitoring Options" paragraph reads: "The Fronius Symo stands out as one of the most communicative inverters on the market…" — text lifted from a Fronius datasheet, describing a different manufacturer's three-phase inverter. Every characteristic in that passage, including dual MPPT, belongs to the Fronius unit. KSTAR's 3 kW single-phase inverter has one MPPT.
A listing whose copy is taken from a competitor's datasheet cannot be used as a source for anything, so we publish no specifications derived from it.
The generation problem, which is the real risk
KSTAR has two published generations in this class and they are not the same product:

The maximum PV voltage differs by 100 V between generations, and that single number decides how many panels may go in a string. Design a string for 600 V and install a 500 V unit and the inverter sees an over-voltage on the first cold morning. The UAE listing names neither generation.
So the instruction for anyone buying KSTAR here is concrete: photograph the nameplate before the installer wires it in, read the model number off it, and get the matching datasheet. Then size the string against the maximum DC voltage printed on that datasheet, not on the shelf page.
