Yadea extended its LFP coverage from 36 months / 40,000 km to 48 months / 50,000 km on 14 April 2026 through distributor Eiffel Industries Limited. That is currently the strongest published battery warranty in the Pakistani market, and it is worth more than most of the specification differences buyers argue about.
Two brands at very different price points, with Super Star at Rs 160,000 and Honda at Rs 419,900, publish no battery warranty term at all. Get it written on the invoice or assume it does not exist.

The number that matters most is not on that table: every 10°C above 25°C can halve lead-acid life, through sulfation and water loss. Pakistani summers regularly exceed 45°C. A pack rated for two years in a temperate climate is not going to deliver two years parked on a Lahore street in June.
You will feel it as range decay long before the pack dies. Lead-acid loses 20 to 30% of capacity within six months. A bike that gave 60 km when new can be struggling to deliver 25 km by the end of its life. This is the single most common complaint from Pakistani e-bike owners, and it is not a defect, it is the chemistry doing precisely what the chemistry does.

So at three years, the cheap lead-acid bike wins on cash, the lithium bike is close behind, and the petrol bike is comfortably last. Both e-bikes beat the CD 70.
Why does the answer flip at five years?
Because the lead-acid bill keeps arriving and the lithium bill does not.

There is the Rs 90,000 from the other direction. A single 72V 30Ah lithium pack costs Rs 89,000 and everyone flinches at it. Three lead-acid sets over five years cost about Rs 90,000 and almost nobody notices, because it arrives as Rs 30,000 three times, framed each time as bad luck.
They are the same money. One is a bill you see coming; the other is a bill you tell yourself is a one-off.

Before buying:
- Shop the warranty, not the spec sheet. 48 months / 50,000 km is worth more than 20 km of claimed range.
- Ask the dealer to quote a replacement pack today, in writing. If they cannot, they will not be supplying one in year two either.
- Get the chemistry on the invoice, lead-acid, graphene lead-acid, lithium-ion or LiFePO4.
- Budget the replacement into the purchase. A Rs 150,000 lead-acid bike is really a Rs 210,000 bike over three years.
After buying, to make the pack last:
- Park and charge in shade. Heat is the primary killer, not mileage.
- Do not leave it on charge overnight once it is full, especially lead-acid.
- Avoid deep discharge. Lead-acid hates being run flat; frequent partial top-ups beat full drains.
- Charge before storage, and top up monthly if the bike sits unused.
If you are upgrading a lead-acid bike to lithium, note that a 63V pack is designed for a 60V system and a 76V pack for a 72V system. You will likely need a matching charger, and possibly controller or BMS work.
