Maxpower Solar Inverters

Maxpower is the inverter half of Maxell Power (Pvt) Ltd, the Gulshan-e-Ravi, Lahore house whose lithium batteries we already cover. On 2 August 2026 its single-phase hybrid ladder runs Rs 40,000 to Rs 435,000 across live listings, three-phase hybrids reach Rs 705,000, and high-voltage commercial units go to Rs 2,810,000 at W11Stop.

The number that actually matters is narrower and stranger: a Maxpower 6 kW hybrid costs Rs 116,000 or Rs 284,999 depending on which of its three badged families you are sold. That is not a dealer spread, it is three different machines sharing one brand and one kW figure - and telling them apart before you pay is what this page is for.

The IP column below prints only what a seller or the datasheet actually states. "Not stated" is the honest answer for the whole PV Tech family and for every Suntronic except the PV6000 Pro - nobody, including Max Power, publishes an ingress rating for them.

Three models sit on W11Stop's shelf with the price field showing Rs 0 and "Inquiry" - the Suntronic PV6000, the Suntronic PV7000 and the Voltas 6K-H4. Those are the three Maxpower units a Pakistani buyer is most likely to be quoted, and the country's largest online solar catalogue will not print a number for any of them. That is the single most useful thing to know before you walk into a shop.

Note also that the Voltas H4 is not simply cheaper than the H6: at W11Stop on 2 August 2026 the 6 kW H6 IP66 is Rs 222,000 and the 6 kW H8 IP66 is Rs 217,000, while the H4 - the model with the published datasheet - is quoted Rs 206,000 to Rs 284,999 elsewhere. The families overlap, and the ordering flips depending on the shop.

Honest assessment

Pros. For a Pakistani badge brand, the after-sales disclosure is unusually real: 50 customer-care entries with street addresses and mobile numbers spanning 47 towns from Bajaur and Lakki Marwat to Gambat and Mirpur Khas, plus two published WhatsApp technical-support lines and six offices. Compare that to Knox, which publishes one Lahore address and one mobile number. The Voltas datasheet is a genuine full spec table - 140 A charge and discharge, dual 17 A MPPTs, 97.90% peak and 96.90% Euro efficiency, CAN and RS485 to the battery BMS with self-adapting lithium charging, IP65, 34 kg, 567 x 467 x 292 mm - which is more electrical detail than most local badges print anywhere. Distribution is wide enough that two or three independent quotes are always available, and the brand also sells genuine Sofar units unbadged, which is a more honest catalogue than pretending everything is in-house.

Cons. Max Power publishes none of its own documentation. Both spec "tabs" we opened on maxpower.com.pk are JPEG images - one of them a file uploaded in March 2024 and titled as a combined 6/8/10 kW datasheet - and the only downloadable PDFs of those datasheets that exist anywhere are two single catalogue pages a retailer, W11Stop, put up. They cover exactly two models out of a range of twenty-plus, and behind them there is no manual, no fault-code table and no BMS protocol list naming which battery brands the CAN port actually speaks to. Ingress protection is unpublished for the entire PV Tech family and every Suntronic but one. No manufacturer is disclosed for any of the three families, and the Voltas certification list contains only European, UK and South African grid codes with no Pakistani standard, which is the signature of a complete imported unit. Warranty is advertised four ways in one week. And the naming is actively hostile to buyers: PV Tech 9000, Suntronic PV6000 and Voltas 6K-H4 are all "6 kW Maxpower" and differ by a factor of 2.5 in price.

Who should buy. Buyers in a small town who care more about a named local repair shop than a documentation trail - that is the strongest case for this brand, and it is a legitimate one. Anyone specifying a lithium bank should buy the Voltas tier, not the Suntronic tier, and should still make the dealer demonstrate BMS communication with the exact battery model before payment. Buyers who need documentation - a manual, a published compatibility list, a fault-code table - should pay the Rs 8,000-40,000 more for a Solis or GoodWe at the same shop.

Pakistan reality check

The three-tier trap. Ask any Maxpower dealer for a "6 kW inverter" and the honest answers on 2 August 2026 are Rs 116,000 (PV Tech 9000, no published IP rating or spec sheet at all), Rs 120,000-125,000 (Suntronic PV6000 Pro, IP21, single MPPT, 93% on its datasheet) or Rs 206,000-284,999 (Voltas 6K-H4, IP65, dual MPPT, 97.9%, CAN/RS485). The Suntronic tier is an indoor box that charges a battery; the Voltas tier is a grid-compliant hybrid you can put on an outside wall and talk to a lithium BMS with. Both are sold as "Maxpower 6kW hybrid". Write the exact family and model number on the invoice.

Who makes it - what we can and cannot say. Max Power publishes no manufacturer statement for PV Tech, Suntronic or Voltas anywhere we could open. What is on the record: the Voltas 6K/8K/10K-H4 datasheet lists grid regulations CEI 0-21 (Italy), VDE-AR-N 4105 (Germany), NRS 097 (South Africa), G98/G99 (UK), RD 1699 (Spain) and C10-11 (Belgium) - and no Pakistani or NEPRA standard; and Max Power's own catalogue carries Sofar-branded three-phase on-grid inverters it sells unbadged alongside its badged families. Separately, the model designators travel across brands: PV6000 is a 6 kW Maxpower Suntronic, a 4 kW Knox and a 6 kW Solar Max Orion; PV9000 is both the Maxpower PV Tech 9000 and the Knox Xenon IP66 6 kW; and NE Solutions sells the Voltas 6K-H4 under the title "Voltas PV9000". That is a shop-floor naming convention travelling with an OEM chassis, exactly as our rebadging guide describes. It is retailer and datasheet evidence, not a manufacturer disclosure, and SolarNevs will not name a factory until one is named on the record.

The service network is the real asset - verify your own town. Max Power's contact page is the most detailed after-sales list we have seen from a Pakistani inverter badge: 50 entries, 47 towns, each with a shop name, street address and mobile number. Read the shop names and the structure is clear - "Shafi Electronics, Dipalpur Road Okara", "Golden Battery House, Multan Road Pattoki", "Yaseen Inverter Repairing Center, Nawabshah". These are independent electronics, battery and repair businesses carrying the badge, not company depots. That is still far better than nothing, but it means the person who honours your claim is a local trader with a commercial relationship, not an employee. Phone your nearest listing before you buy and ask two questions: do you handle Maxpower warranty claims, and do you stock boards for this exact model. Note also that the Temargarah entry is printed twice and the Bannu entry's address is in Karak.

Ingress rating is the one spec that maps to Pakistani weather - and for most of this range nobody publishes it. The Suntronic PV6000 Pro is IP21, stated by Max Power and W11Stop: indoor only, dust ingress protection essentially nil. For every other Suntronic and for the entire PV Tech family, no IP rating appears on Max Power's site, on its category pages or in any seller title we opened, so the honest working assumption is indoor-only until a dealer shows you otherwise in writing. Either way, in Multan, Sukkur or Bahawalpur that means a sealed, ventilated indoor location and an annual blow-out, or the fan pulls the summer dust straight through the board. The Voltas H4 is IP65 on its datasheet and the 6-12 kW H6/H8 units are titled IP66 by both W11Stop and SunSolar, which is what makes the Rs 90,000-160,000 step up defensible for an outdoor or semi-outdoor install. The Voltas datasheet also states an operating range of -45 to 60 C with derating from 45 C, so a west-facing wall in June is a derating problem even on an IP66 unit.

No fault-code table, and no manual behind the datasheets. Neither maxpower.com.pk nor any retailer we opened publishes a Maxpower error-code list, and neither of the two datasheet PDFs W11Stop hosts contains one - they are single catalogue pages of electrical data, not manuals. Until one surfaces, a Maxpower fault screen has to be diagnosed against the platform the hardware belongs to, not against a Maxpower document - which is why our Maxpower error-code page ships with observed codes only and why you should photograph the fault screen before power-cycling.

Net metering. The Voltas H4 and H6 are grid-tie capable and sold for net-metered systems, but the datasheet's compliance list contains no Pakistani grid code. Maxpower occupies both ends of this shelf rather than a single position - which is the whole point. The PV Tech and Suntronic tiers compete with Stabimatic and Tesla at the bottom; the Voltas tier sits between Knox and Solis in the middle. Nothing Maxpower sells competes at the top, and nothing it sells is the cheapest thing in the shop either.

Against the imported tier, the Rs 8,000 gap from the Voltas H6 6 kW to a Solis 6 kW LV is the cheapest documentation upgrade available in the Pakistani market on this shelf today: it buys a manufacturer-published datasheet and manual, a published BMS compatibility list, a real fault-code table and a manufacturer that exists as a manufacturer. If that Rs 8,000 is affordable, spend it. If your priority is a repair shop in Nowshera or Jacobabad, Maxpower's list is the one that has one.
