| Warranty | Osda's ODA-144MHD datasheet states 15 years product warranty (material and workmanship) and 30 years linear power output, with the published degradation curve running from 99% in year 1 to 87.4% in year 30. The UAE listing advertises '30 years warranty' without the distinction; the term that replaces a failed panel is the 15-year one. |
The Osda ODA585-36V-MHD is a 585W N-type bifacial double-glass module, listed in Dubai at AED 415 — AED 0.71 per watt — on 5 August 2026, in stock at maxima.solar under the seller's own SKU "DS16 144-585M".
It is the only panel on that shelf whose published specification can be checked line by line against the manufacturer's datasheet, and it passes.

Every row above is read off Osda's ODA-144MHD datasheet, accessed 5 August 2026. The first five also appear, identically, in the UAE listing's own quick-spec block.
Two things the UAE listing gets wrong about its own product
"9 busbar" — it is 16BB. Osda's datasheet specifies SMBB super multi-busbar construction with sixteen busbars. Busbar count is not marketing: more of them shorten the distance current travels across a cell, which cuts resistive loss and reduces the output lost when a cell cracks. The seller is understating the module.
"30 years warranty" — that is the output warranty only. Osda publishes 15 years product (material and workmanship) and 30 years linear power output, with a curve running 99% in year 1 to 87.4% in year 30. The two promise different things and the shorter one is the one that replaces a broken panel.
And "DS16-144-585M" is not an Osda part number. It is the seller's SKU pattern — the same site uses DS-prefixed SKUs for its own DUSOL house brand and attaches a near-identical string to a Jinko listing. The manufacturer designation is ODA585-36V-MHD. Insist on it appearing on the invoice.
String design, before you order
At 51.16 V open-circuit per module, ten in series is 511.6 V at standard test conditions — and Voc rises as temperature falls, so a January dawn in Dubai pushes it higher still. Several small single-phase inverters sold in the UAE cap at 500 V DC, including the KStar 3 kW on this same shelf, whose published maximum is 500 V DC. Count the modules per string against the inverter's real ceiling, not its MPPT window.
Price context
Panel, same seller, 5 Aug 2026 | Price (AED) | Per watt | Traceable to a datasheet? |
|---|---|---|---|
Osda 585W N-type | 415 | 0.71 | Yes |
AE Solar 585M | 410 | 0.70 | No — two candidate models |
AE Solar 710W | 450 | 0.63 | No — two candidate models |
One percent per watt is what traceability costs on this shelf. It buys a part number, a matching datasheet, a published degradation curve, and a warranty you can name the term of — which is the difference between a claim and an argument.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Osda 585W panel cost in the UAE?
AED 415 per panel at maxima.solar on 5 August 2026, in stock - AED 0.71 per watt. That is one seller's listed price on one day. Until a second UAE seller lists the same module we publish no spread, because one quote is not a market.
Is this panel really N-type?
Yes, and it is the one panel on this seller's shelf where that can be confirmed rather than assumed. Osda's own ODA-144MHD datasheet specifies 182 x 91 mm N-type bifacial mono half-cells, and every electrical figure in the UAE listing matches the datasheet exactly.
What is the real model number?
ODA585-36V-MHD, in Osda's ODA-144MHD series. The 'DS16-144-585M' string in the UAE listing is the seller's own SKU pattern and appears nowhere in Osda's documentation - the same site uses DS-prefixed SKUs for its in-house DUSOL panels and attaches a near-identical string to a Jinko listing. Put the Osda part number on the invoice, because that is what a warranty claim is made against.
How many do I need for a 10 kW array?
Eighteen modules at 585W gives 10.53 kW DC, which is AED 7,470 of panels at this price. Check the string design against your inverter's MPPT window before ordering: at 51.16 V open-circuit each, a string of ten sits above 510 V on a cold morning, which is already past the DC ceiling of several small single-phase inverters sold in the UAE.
Is the 30-year warranty on the listing accurate?
Only the performance half. Osda gives 15 years on materials and workmanship and 30 years of linear power output - the second guarantees the panel still produces a stated percentage of its rating, not that it will be replaced. Osda's own curve puts it at 87.4% of rating in year 30.
Is bifacial worth it on a UAE roof?
It depends entirely on what sits under the array. Rear-side gain is reflected light, so a raised, tilted array over pale gravel or a white roof earns some; modules mounted flush to a dark waterproofing membrane earn close to none. The 5400 Pa rear-load rating and double-glass construction are worth having regardless - they are what let this module carry a 30-year output warranty in a climate that destroys polymer backsheets.
